On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the source of knowledge and science in the world; Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (PBUH), a unified procession of the servants of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (PBUT) was launched on the 7th of July 2018, from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH) to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (PBUH) covered in black and expressing their sadness and sorrows in commemorating this sad occasion in the shrine of the Master of martyrs (PBUH).

Within its special program for the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of the sixth of the imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT); Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (PBUH), the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held its annual condolence council, which lasted for two days in the hall of ceremonies inside the holy sanctuary in the presence of a large group of its employees and a number of visitors.

To commemorate the tragic martyrdom of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq(PBUH), a huge condolence banner was hung at the entrance of Qibla gate of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH). The banner is 28 m long and 6 m wide, on which was stitched in white the following expression "May Allah pray upon Ja'far son of Mohamad the proof of the Lord of the two worlds" and on its two sides it was stitched in green "Sadeq [truthful] in the saying" and " Sadeq in action".

In order to contribute to the intellectual, cultural and instructive education, immunization and arming of girls, the Women's Speech Division organized a course for girls from the age of 9 to 18 in accordance with a curriculum set up by a specialized committee to suit each age group.

With the high temperatures and the lack of electricity supply and its interruption most of the time, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine opened its doors for the students of the sixth preparatory grade to study and prepare for the final exams, which is one of the most important exams in their student life because it will determine their future.

After passing the tests of the religious guides who will accompany the convoys of pilgrims this year to the Holy House of God, a number of guides of the Department of Religious Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine participated in the work of the annual conference of the guides of the convoys of the pilgrims of the House of God.
