The Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (PBUH), Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbal’ie, its secretary general Sayyid Ja’afar al-Mousawi, and a group of officials and employees in holy shrine of Imam Hussein visited the holy shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). The Secretary General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), Yusuf Mahdi Aal Sheikh Radhi, the vice secretary general as well as the members of the Board of Directors received them.

Every Friday eve, the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT) are packed with great crowds of visitors, which is a tradition of the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) because the holy narrations have stressed on the Ziyarat of Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn on Friday eve.

The unified annual condolence procession of the servants of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT) launched on June 6, 2018, led by many officials and employees of the two holy shrines, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (PBUT), and to extend their condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT) on this sad occasion.

One of the diversified activities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine during the holy month of Ramadhan was allocated to the orphans and their families, especially of those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the homeland.

During these days of the holy month of Ramadhan we commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali(PBUH), which is considered the greatest tragedy in Islam after the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet Mohammad(PBUH).

In an important step towards protecting innocent children from the dangers of homelessness, and in order to compensate them for their loss of family affection, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has launched a new project for the care of children without family care. And named the project "[Ruhama'u baynahom] Merciful among themselves".

It is narrated that the eve of the nineteenth of this holy month is one of the blessed nights that are considered holy as the Almighty Allah has opened the door of repentance and forgiveness for us so we can hope for His Mercy and Generosity, seeking intercession of our holy Imams (peace be upon them).

The general program prepared by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the holy month of Ramadhan included a number of special activities to commemorate a number of occasions, including the martyrdom of Imam Ali(PBUH), which coincides with the revival of the holy nights of Qadr [Decree].

The Division of the Women Religious Guidance of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine organize daily activities during the holy month of Ramadhan, following a plan set up for the revival of this holy month whether inside or outside the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH).

Relying on their own experiences without the help of external parties, the technical staff working in the cooling division of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine added (860) tons of cooling and introduced it in the central cooling system of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in a way that does not intersect with its work.

The AlKafeel Center for Artistic Production and Live Broadcast of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has recently completed a documentary film entitled "Lady of Quraysh" with a wonderful artistic vision that combines modernity, accuracy and the credibility of the correct information extracted from the authentic history and biography books.

The Media Department took the responsibility for transporting the intellectual and cultural publications of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) to over twenty Study and Research Centers in the University of Tikrit.

The House of the Holy Quran that belongs to the Religious Affairs Department in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) started the electronic Quranic competition during the month of Ramadan.

The secretary general of the Holy Shrine held his first meeting with the new-appointed members of the Board of Directors. The members were appointed at the ratification of the Head of the Shia Endowment.
