The third annual book fair, which was held this year under the slogan "I graduated but will remain faithful to my book", was opened on Tuesday December 12, 2017 in the Engineering Faculty with the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in addition to the holy shrines of Imam Ali, of Imam al-Hussayn and of Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-'Askari (PBUT) and a number of colleges and publishing houses.

The technical staff of the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine competed a service project based on preparing the road ('Aqd Bani Tamim) behind the al-'Alqami complex for visitors in the area of Freyha with two layers of sand and gravel, under the guidance of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi.

The work of the wooden structure of the sanctuary of al-Qassem son of Imam Musa son of Ja'far (PBUT), which grid is being manufactured in the factory of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the manufacture of the grids and doors of the holy shrines and sanctuaries, reached advanced stages according to the plan set by the technical committee supervising this work.

Imam Hussein Shrine has opened a Muslim Family Institute in the holy city of Kerbela.

Within the patient care program, the Martyred and Wounded Paramilitary Family Care Division of Imam Hussein Shrine has paid a visit to some wounded paramilitaries at Zainul-Abedeen Hospital of Imam Hussein Shrine.

The Quranic Projects Center for the Holy Quran Institute at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched the Minbar of Noor Project, which is the establishment of Quranic forums and events inside and outside the holy city of Karbala in the holy shrines, sanctuaries, Hussayniyat or Masjid with the participation of the Quranic elites from within and outside of Iraq, according to a pre-set plan.

The technical staffs of the Departments of Maintenance and the Engineering Projects completed the water supply project of the al-Abbas's (p) residential project of the employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with high technical specifications and within a short period of time, in which the residents of the complex managed to enjoy water.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Engineer Mohamad al-Ashigar congratulates the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (PBUH) for opening the kindergarten of Lady Ruqayyah (PBUH) for orphans, wishing it to continue these charitable projects that serve the segments of society, including the orphans.

The pilgrims of the Razavi Illuminated Court, in solidarity with other Muslims of the world, supported the Palestinian people strongly and demanded the liberation of the occupied territories from the domination of Israel and its allies.

Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “Rendering service to the people in need is an example of service to Hazrat Reza (A.S.) and it leads to spiritual promotion of the mankind”.

The head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Eng. Dea' Majed al-Sa'egh, announced the start of the second phase of the project of strengthening and re-gilding the walls of the Great Gold Iwan, known as al-Taremah, which will include the main door leading to the holy sanctuary facing the Qibla gate of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH), after the completion of the first phases, which included parts on the left and right sides.

A delegation representing the Karbala Heritage Center of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has discussed with the Kashif al-Ghita' Public Foundation in Najaf province the ways of cooperation and joint action to learn about the heritage aspect of the activities carried out by the Foundation and its other activities.

A delegation from the College of Quranic Studies – Babylon University has visited the manuscript center of Imam Hussein Shrine in terms of acquainting themselves with the work of the center.

The holy shrine of Razavi was immersed in light and joy on the night of the seventeenth of Rabi' al-Awal, coincident with the night of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and Imam Ja'far Sadeq (A.S.).

Coincident with Rabi' al-awwal 17th, the birthday anniversary of the Prophet (S.A.W.) and Imam Sadiq (A.S.), a celebration titled “Unity, the Key to Resistance and Victory” was held in Imam Khomeini’s (R.A.) Portico of Razavi Holy Shrine.

Flowers on the top of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) holy chamber was specially decorated, on the occasion of birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).

In a visit paid to international exhibition of Islamic World’s publishers, deputy custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “Expanding and propagating Islamic and Razavi teachings and serious attention to the culture of book reading are among most important approaches of Astan Quds Razavi in the area of culture”.

In a ceremony participated by custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, honored families of martyrs of the Islamic world and Holy Shrine were appreciated.

A selection of exquisite objects of museum of Supreme Leader’s gifts and Qur’an museum of Astan Quds Razavi were introduced with a focus on Islamic Unity on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (S.A.W.) birthday and beginning of unity week.

In cooperation with the colleges of Art of Baghdad University and Deyala University, the Youth Care Center of Imam Hussein Shrine has held a festival titled “Human Development Through The Arba’een Pilgrimage.”
