The students and teachers of the Secondary School of the Master of Water "Sayed al-Ma" for boys established by the Department of Education at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, have organized a condolence procession on Thursday morning the 26th of Safar 1439 AH corresponding to the November 16, 2017.

Within the framework of its continuous care of the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH), the Department of the sanctuary's care of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has replaced the carpet in the holy sanctuary with another set in line with the sanctity of the place, and this after finishing all the works related to Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (PBUH).

During a visit the Iraqi Minister of Justice Haider Ez-Zamili made to Imam Hussein Shrine - where he met up with sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e, representative of Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, - he stated that the Iraqi government is rejecting any demand of extraditing foreign terror convicts to their countries.

The Iraqi Prime Minister Haider El-Ebadi – during a visit he made to Imam Hussein Shrine on the day of the Arba’een pilgrimage – was received by sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e, presentative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority.

The pilgrim cities of Imam Hussein Shrine have stated that they received more than 7 million pilgrims during the Arba’een pilgrimage.
