Members of the Iranian Quranic delegation held some 350 Quranic sessions in different cities of Iraq during this year’s Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The Iraqi Prime Minister; Dr. Haidar al-'Abbadi visit the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). And after performing the rituals of the Ziyarat, he met with the Secretary-General of the holy shrine; Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar and a number of its officials.

Imam Hussein Shrine has stated that the holy city of Kerbela received approximately 10 million pilgrims from Iraqi cities and countries until the 17th of Safar month 1439 A.H.

The management of Sayyid El-Ewseya Pilgrim City has announced that it received approximately 800,000 pilgrims last week.

The staff of the Service Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine started on Saturday morning 21st of Safar 1439 AH corresponding to the November 11, 2017 a wide cleaning campaign for the holy city of Karbala after the end of the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

Approximately 100 deaf-mute people as a volunteer group have participated in serving the Arba’een pilgrims in the holy city of Kerbela this year.

Within the free services offered to the pilgrims of the Arba’een pilgrimage to Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) is a mobile dental clinic.

The representative of the supreme religious authority; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi has received the leadership of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad and a number of its officials and administrators.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine expressed its thanks and gratitude for the efforts exerted by the media that participated in the transfer the rituals of Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

The number of pilgrims who walk to the shrine of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) is increasing every single year.

Amid millions of pilgrims in the holy city of Kerbela, people sometimes loose their way, and it is difficult for them to find their company. Therefore, Imam Hussein has taken the initiative and established a center for missing persons.

Qaiser Kiko, the member of the administration committee of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), discussed with the officials of various departments in Holy Shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas (PBUT) ways of proving the cooperation to provide the best services for the holy shrines, Ahlul Bayt (PBUT) and the pilgrims all the year round.

The city of Karbala, which witnessed a spiritual Hussayni atmosphere lasted for more than a week because of the crowds of visitors whose numbers reached millions, and who seemed to flow from heaven to the paradise of God on earth; Karbala, and after reaching its peak in the past two days, the crowds of visitors drawn a magnificent Hussayni condolence image while performing the Ziyarat rituals.

"The Ziyarat Arba'een of this year has attracted extensive media coverage from inside and outside Iraq, most of which began since the arrival of the first visitors to the holy city of Karbala, and they were able to transfer this ritual.

The last days of the Arba'een were characterized by a decrease of temperatures especially at night time, which urged the Department of Service Affairs within its service plan of the visitors of Arba'een to open centers for the distribution of blankets, after being equipped by thousands of blankets.

The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has participated on Friday afternoon 20th of Safar 1439 AH along with millions of visitors in Karbala, with a condolence procession to commemorate the rituals of Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them).

The German convert was honored to visit the Holy Shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH). The head of the administration committee of the Holy Shrine Mr. Mohammad Hassan Razzouqi, the head of the Women's Affairs Department Wafaa Brahimi, and a number of officials of the departments and divisions in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) received her.

The expansion of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine embraced thousands of visitors after that the employees of the service affairs department prepared and equipped them with comforts means.

The water Division is one of the divisions working within the service affairs department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and is among the divisions that has mobilized all its human and material resources and potentials to provide water to the visitors, whether inside or outside the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH).

The Quranic booths set up on the path of Arbaeen pilgrims in Iraq concluded their activities after 20 days.
