Al-Murtada Center for Culture and Guidance held the annual Central Ceremony to honor distinguished students of middle schools of Al-Rumaitha district and its surrounding in Al-Muthanna province, as the holy shrine believe in the necessity of supporting the educational project in Iraq and encouraging outstanding students to continue their success, which enhance their confidence in their scientific career.

After more than three years that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine harnessed all the possible potential through its Department of Engineering Projects to accomplish within the time limits and technical specifications the project of the al-'Afaf Shopping Center, which is one of the investment projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that will offer the residents and visitors of Karbala a new and exciting shopping experience.

The Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at the al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine opened its first annual exhibition "Our heritage is our identity" in the hall of Imam al-Hassan (PBUH) in the holy shrine in the presence of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and its Secretary General; Mohamad al-Ashigar and a large group of religious scholars, academics and a number of specialist in heritage field.

With the participation of a delegation of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT) and amid the presence of a group of scholars from all sects, the fifth conference of Muslim Scholars was held on Thursday March 29, 2018 by al-Kawthar Islamic University amid extensive media coverage.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was represented by the Departments of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs and the Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs in the Baghdad International Book Fair, which started on March 29, 2018 under the slogan "We read so we progress" with the participation of 600 local, Arab and International publishing houses and will last for ten days.

The crowds gathers with eager hearts to greet the delegation of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT), which went to the city of Muzaffarabad, the capital of the Pakistani territory of Azad Kashmir.
