And with purely Iraqi design and implementation using the latest printing techniques that are better than the international printing in some technical particularities.

Within the series of works set up by the staff of engineering maintenance department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, it has recently started renewing and developing the rain water drainage cannels surrounding the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), by establishing new drainage cannels with higher capacity and with more consistent forms with the entrances of the shrine from the outside.

Under the direct field supervision of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the technical and engineering staff working in the expansion project of the Maqam of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), continue the works according to the time and technical plans prepared for it and depending to the special designs, which was characterized by the urban harmony of the Maqam as a whole, and of the Islamic heritage in general.
