In commemoration of the martyrdom of the lady of the worlds' women; the immaculate venerable Fatima Az-Zahra (PBUH), the students of Al-'Ameed Schools' Group participated in the free drawing activity held on the sidelines of the tenth sorrows' season, which is held by the department of the Hussayni processions and rituals of the two holy shrines in the area between the two holy shrines.

The special representative of the United Nations in Iraq Ján Kubiš visited Imam Hussein Shrine and met up with the representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’ey.

With words of grief and sadness, a female procession participated in the tenth Fatimi sorrows season held by the Department of Hussayni processions and rituals at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas(PBUT), to extend condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and to his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT) on the martyrdom anniversary of the immaculate Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (SA).

As usual in such sad days for the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) marking the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet (AS); Lady Fatima Az-Zahra (PBUH), the Fatimi condolences' processions come to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH) to commemorate this sad occasion.

In order to show respect to the rituals of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet's daughter; the immaculate venerable lady Fatima az-Zahra (PBUH), the Department of Hussayni rituals and processions has launched the season of the Fatimi sorrows under the patronage of the two general secretariats of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (PBUT).

In cooperation with Najaf municipality, the staffs of the Service Affairs Department in the secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) began washing and cleaning the streets that lead to the old city where the holy shrine is.

A delegation from the Heritage Reviving Division that belongs to the Cultural and Intellectual Affairs Department in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) visited Imam Hassan Public Library.

Some believers came from Turkey to visit the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH).

“At present, Astan Quds Razavi is in contact with 1500 Islamic Cultural Institutes with 160 countries, and have promotional packages sent to them in postal and e-mail forms” Director of Non-Iranian Pilgrim’s Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said.

Going on Imam Reza (A.S.) pilgrimage is a dream for many of lovers and devotees of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) and only three million non-Iranian pilgrims have the opportunity to visit Hazrat Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine.

Twenty-five Pakistani scholars visited Astan Quds Razavi Islamic Research Foundation and became closely acquainted with the activities of the institute.

Among the series of activities held by the Sayed servants working at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of their grandmother Fatima Az-Zahra (PBUH), presenting tea to the visitors of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT).

The servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) chanted condolences' words and poems, with tears in their eyes expressing the sadness of their hearts as they recall the martyrdom of the beloved daughter of the Great Prophet; Fatima Az-Zahra (Allah's prayers be upon them and their holy Household).

The ambassadors of the 14th edition of the World Cultural Festival of Martyrdom's Spring, which is composed of the delegation of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (PBUT), continue to direct invitations to attend and participate in the festival activities, which will kick off at the beginning of the month of Sha'baan under the slogan "By al-Hussayn (PBUH) we make revolution and by the fatwa we are victorious."

A delegation represented by some scholars from Al-Azhar al-Shareef in Egypt visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). Mohammad Razooqi, the head of the administration committee of the Holy Shrine, received them.

Manager of non-Iranian pilgrims’ affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said, “Creating divisions and being hostile toward Islam are most important way of enemies to hit and destroy Muslims and Islam”.

A graduate from the Al-Mustafa International University from Indonesia said, "Attending the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali bin Musa al-Reza (A.S.) and resorting to his holiness will make people closer to God Almighty.

An Iraqi medical team working at the al-Kafeel specialist hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the success of the first kidney transplant surgery donated by a thirty years old man to his brother. Stating that the operation was carried out by an expatriate Iraqi doctor with the help of a specialized medical and nursing staff.
