A Christian delegation, from Virgin Mary Church, Baghdad – Iraq, has visited Imam Hussein Holy Shrine on Wednesday 17 May 2017.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, represented by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, has concluded on Friday afternoon the 22nd of Sha'baan 1438 AH, corresponding to the 19th of May, 2017, the second cultural festival of the fatwa of the sacred defense held for two days under the slogan "The fatwa is the fragrance of victory and the Musk of martyrdom".

The head of Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Mustafa Abu Tabuk and the head of Dar Quran, Sayyed Baqir al-Bakhti had received the delegation.

The head of Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Mustafa Abu al-Tabok had honored the supervisor of Jawadiyah University in Banarst, India, Mr. Shamim al-Radawi.

The Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Mr. Nizar Hashim Habl al-Mateen had opened the carpet washing plant that belongs to Service Affairs' Department in the presence of a number of department heads and engineering and technical cadres working in the service affairs department and guests from the Iranian city of Tabriz who participated in the rehabilitation process.

The Media Division for Women of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has held a festival to award the typical high-achieving students of the University of Kerbela and the University of Kufa.

Imam Hussein holy Shrine has participated in the 9th Peace International Festival in Dewanya City. The festival annually held by Imam Es-Sadiq Foundation has been attended by clerics from Philippine, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon, in addition to the Imam Ali Holy Shrine, El-Kathemeya Holy Shrine, El-Eskereya Holy Shrine, and El-Abbas Holy Shrine.

Al-Ameed Educational Group in the Department of Education and Higher Education of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has announced the opening of the teachers' recruitment (male and female) for its schools and kindergartens in the holy city of Karbala, in all disciplines including psychological and educational sciences.
